If the doctor who treated you was careless, lacked training or if they disregarded the normal rules associated with treating your condition, then you may have grounds for a medical negligence claim. Things at the hospital don’t always go right, but that doesn’t mean that there is always grounds for a claim. You see, you have to prove that there was negligence. Sometimes, for example, medicine given doesn’t treat the disease and leads to further problems. However if that’s the medicine that is usually prescribed for that condition, there is no grounds for a medical negligence lawsuit.
